Only the back measurement is necessary to find the appropriate size.

To correctly measure the back: start from the withers or in the same direction as the front legs and go to the end of the spine or just before the tail.

To measure the back using a ruler and a piece of thread: (1) position the cold on the back; (2) mark or cut where it starts and ends and (3) use the ruler to measure the length of the wire.
